Furthermore, these work boots have a fantastic shock-absorbing feature. Both types of boots come with a cushioned insole that cradles your feet all day. The Ultimate Shock Absorption footbed is removable, which makes it even more convenient. In addition to protecting your feet, the cushioned insole also gives you a better fit, especially if you have a narrow foot.
The American Heritage boots clock in about 4 lbs, which is very lightweight. So you will have no issues wearing these boots all day long for any type of job.
The only issue is that these work boots do not have a waterproof quality. This has been a long-standing issue for these classic Thorogood boots. Although the brand now offers waterproof boots in the American Heritage series, the 6-inch boots are yet to be given this much-needed feature.
